About
My name is Fiona Mooney, owner of FM Massage.
I have a diploma in Swedish massage and specialise in both Swedish, Deep tissue massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I offer treatments to help anyone prepare for and recover from sports, and to help those who need to destress and relax. Initial appointments include a consultation to tailor the treatment to your needs.
I am a keen runner and busy mum of 2 children so know the importance of massage for sport but also to relax and destress. Book today to let me help you with your massage needs.

Deep tissue massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially good for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. The pressure is deeper and more intense than a Swedish massage, and it can help break up scar tissue and promote healing.

Manual lymphatic drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage technique that aims to stimulate the lymphatic system and promote the natural drainage of lymph, a fluid that carries waste products away from the tissues and back to the bloodstream. This therapy can help reduce swelling, improve circulation, and boost the immune system. It is often used to treat conditions such as lymphedema fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. By relaxing the sympathetic nervous system it can treat headaches, sprains and aches, digestive disorders and pre and post surgery as it helps to remove tissue congestion and minimise scar formation.

1 hour/ 90 Mins massage - This initial appointment includes a consultation to tailor the massage to your specific needs. Soft tissue Swedish massage and/or deep tissue massage therapies are available. £45/£65
30 Minute Massage - This initial appointment includes a consultation and treatment will be focused on 1 area of the body. Swedish and/or deep tissue massage techniques are available. £30
45 minute Manual Lymphatic Drainage - This includes a 15 min consultation to tailor the treatment to your specific needs followed by 30 minutes of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage. £50
30 minute massage - tailored massage based on your ongoing needs and focused on 1 area of the body. £30
1 hour massage/90 Mins - tailored massage based on your ongoing needs, a consultation review is included in the appointment. £45/£65
1 hour Manual Lymphatic Drainage - treatment focused on your ongoing needs. The treatment time will include a consultation review. £65
Cancellation Policy
ONLINE BOOKING:

When booking online, you will be charged 50% of the treatment cost as a deposit.

In the event of a no-show, (i.e., not attending the appointment and not contacting me) this deposit will be retained.

In the event of a cancellation or re-schedule of less than 24 hrs notice, this deposit will be retained.

In the event of a reschedule of more than 24-hours prior to your appointment, this deposit will be either transferred to the next appointment or refunded.
For anyone that doesn’t use the online booking system you will be required to send your deposit by bank transfer or a payment link can be sent.
I understand that genuine emergencies do occur, so this policy will be exercised at my discretion.

LATE ARRIVAL
No fee is charged but your appointment will end at the scheduled time. For that reason, please arrive on time.
